Sisterhood is excited to announce the revival of their annual

SISTERHOOD SHABBAT

January 28, 2012

We would love to have everyone participate, and we need as many of you there as possible to make this event a success.  Since this is a huge undertaking, we are starting the planning process right away.  There will be English and Hebrew readings, possible singing parts, honors, and preparing for a beautiful lunch.  Please let us know how you would like to participate and we will try to accommodate as many requests as possible,  If you are interested in sponsoring all or part of this lunch, please contact us, and please support the Flower and Kiddush Fund which will be used to pay for this luncheon.

Thank you for your participation.

RAMAH SCHOLARSHIP

In previous years we have held a luncheon to raise scholarship money for Camp Ramah.  As you know, two years ago we decided to forego the annual Ramah Scholarship luncheon.  This year we will do the same, which will enable us to give one hundred percent of the proceeds as scholarships for children of our Temple family who wish to attend Ramah.  A summer at Ramah is Jewish camping at at its very best.

In these difficult times, camoers' needs for scholarships has increased and an even greater need is anticipated for next summer.  Your generous support would enable many more of our kids to enjoy a Jewish camping experience.  Ramah has a powerful impact on future Jewish leadership and, therefore, this is an eminently worthy cause.

When our chairperson contacts you, please be as generous as you have been in the past.  Members of our temple family have always supported Sisterhood's scholarship program in the past and we hope you will continue to do so this year.  Thank you in advance for your generous support and partnership.
